... the journey to find my inner stripper.

I’m 28, goth-ish and I live in Seattle. I’ve got two cats and a life partner- we’ve been together for 9 years. I grew up in Western New York, I’ve been a vegetarian for 16 years and I’m a fatty.

I don’t think that fat is a nasty thing to say, I don’t hate my body now nor have I ever. I am just on the search for a skinnier me so I’ll look hot in my wedding photos. I am recanting my tales of this weight loss goal here, as publicly as I can, because maybe I’ll help someone out, or inspire, or maybe you’ll laugh at me or with me- doesn’t matter, it’s the internet and I does what I wants.

I’m not even done with my first week, but already I’m all sorts of pleased with my results. Though it’s fading, the desire for starch is still strong within me, and I’m going to blame my recent switch to protein rich foods for my totally bizarre dreams…. Last nights was of my grandmother pinching me, really, super duper hard….

But I’ve lost 10lbs in 3 days bitches, eat that. I’m also finding a butt ton of really interesting recipes for stuff that sounds like it would be either bad for me or just taste like crap, but work perfectly on my diet AND taste great.

Made these yesterday with some extra sharp cheddar, it was a fatsplosion in my mouth of heavenly goodness…You can also buy something thats in the same style, but probably a bit more crispity and a bit less fatty.

I’ve been sticking close to the 20 grams of net carbs or less per day, I’m eating constantly it seems- and I’m losing a ton of water weight, so I’m going to start supplementing my water loss with something Marius and I call “Salt Soup”. It’s basically this organic-vegetarian friendly-‘not chicken’ broth that is pretty darn tasty. But I’m a choosey broth sipper, regular joes can probably just make some soup base out of those cubes next to the campbell’s canned variety of soups. The salt soup does slow the weight loss- but it’s important to remain hydrated and to not turn into a crazy raisin lady.

My next hurdle is the gym, oh, and I’m going on a hunt for the perfect nut butter today. (lolz, nut butter….)

Weight lost: -10lbs!

Mini goal: 235lbs by V-day

Final goal: 175lbs
