... the journey to find my inner stripper.

I’m 28, goth-ish and I live in Seattle. I’ve got two cats and a life partner- we’ve been together for 9 years. I grew up in Western New York, I’ve been a vegetarian for 16 years and I’m a fatty.

I don’t think that fat is a nasty thing to say, I don’t hate my body now nor have I ever. I am just on the search for a skinnier me so I’ll look hot in my wedding photos. I am recanting my tales of this weight loss goal here, as publicly as I can, because maybe I’ll help someone out, or inspire, or maybe you’ll laugh at me or with me- doesn’t matter, it’s the internet and I does what I wants.

Please, feel free to ask me anything.

I don’t hate people and their thinspo, I like to have my own personal motivators- but I guess it’s just all the hatred spewing forth from these girls that frustrates me, their actions and their ‘why me’ attitude…  It’s the constant images of bow legged underweight girls sitting awkwardly while wearing short shorts and combat boots…. it drives me bananas. You want to look and feel fat, you bratty little twit? Then live a day in the shoes of any woman with 50, 75, 100+lbs to lose. Or better yet, live a day in the body of a woman with MS or late stage cancer, I’m betting you’ll have something much more pitiful to complain about then. GRR! Also, using ex-lax because you ate cake is gross. Your Justin Bieber wanna-be boyfriend would probably find it a lot cuter that your breath smells like devil’s food rather than his bathroom smelling like diarrhea. /end rant. Okay, seriously? You clearly have no idea what it’s like to deal with something like an eating disorder. Like we WANT to? Wow. Insensitive, much?  I recently got some responses to my post about hating thinspo. I’m not in defense of what I said, I stand by it- but I did want to point out, that it’s not the people I was griping about, but the actions and behaviours they exhibit. Please take the time to read what I wrote before you immediately jump to conclusions and get butt hurt. And, as you’s know if you read back in my blog, you’d know I do know what it’s like to have issues with food- As I’ve said again and again in this blog, overeating is my issue. But, whether it’s someone calling a fat woman a pig or a thin woman a skeletor, it’s all hatred and it all sucks. I don’t think anyone shouldn’t be pissed off at how cruel women are to themselves, whether it’s with thinspiration, maniacal beauty treatments, endless workouts or whatever. This is the last I’m going to say about this, I’m sorry if you don’t agree with me here- but this does happen to be my blog, and if my standpoint is bothersome, I encourage you to not read my further posts. Furthermore, she does have a cameltoe.
